DUNKIRK, N.Y.
Chrysler Corporation introduced the new, post-WWII 1946 Dodge pickup in December of 1945. Much (I'd imagine) to the chagrin of buyers, from the outside they looked pretty much like the 1941 models, which were introduced for model year 1939. A few out-of-sight improvements had been made, but it would be two more years before a restyled Dodge pickup would come to market.
This one was seen at this year's Harbor Cruise car show.
